Prototype Game Doesn’t Play A Sound. An Error Says Could Not Find XAudio2.

After work, I got bored then I remember I have a Prototype Game and run it. It caught my attention when it only displays black screen and it takes a very long time to load. It’s really unusual it happened that way.

So I press the window key and I found out the reason why. It's an xaudio2 error.

This is the reason why it only displays screen of black. It says could not find xaudio2 but I still could play it. It's just that you are going to play it like muted. The error says “Please re-install the game and install the required DirectX 9.0c provided or obtain the latest version from Microsoft. Game will now continue without sound.”

And Then?

I search on the internet on how to solve the problem. So I came up with this solution. It says I need to download the Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) because Windows 7 with the latest DirectX 11 gets an error with its XAudio2 engine like “Failed to create XAudio2 engine” and other XAudio2 issue.

After That?

I download xaudio2 file that was just about 98mb. After download, I installed it and tried to run the Prototype Game. I was really happy for the sound of the game comes out from the speaker.
